Let Them eat cake
This is my third ‘let them eat cake’.. a collection inspired by Marie Antoinette. Decadent and extravagant…Do you dare to wear?
There are firstly 5 gorgeous, stunning, beautiful lampwork glass hearts… can you tell that I love these! Lol. I do love these hearts, they have been featuring in my designs for almost 3 years. They are made by Karen Halls and they are a lovely chocolate and gold colour with a tiny pink and sage green rose design. The large focal flower is a dusky plum stacked lucite rose and there are 2 vintage Lucite orchids in the same shade of plum….all stunning! I have beaded them with fluted glass raspberry and pistachio green beads. I have also used 2 gold tone fans (they are hard to spot on the photo, but they are there) 2 gold tone masquerade mask charms (masquerade is another feature design of mine, what out for another one soon) a tiny gold coloured key and a gold tone crown. There are 3 gold coloured acrylic buttons~ a fancy ladies shoe, an oval inlaid with chartreuse green and a diamond inlaid with black. There are two lampwork glass chocolates, 4 sage green porcelain roses, ( I love roses and these often feature in my designs too) 4 cream porcelain roses beaded with more raspberry and pistachio beads, vintage pale pink Lucite rounds, chartreuse green glass pearls, vintage pale pink baroque glass pearls, chocolate brown Swarovski pearls, creamy white carved bone beads, white cloisonné beads, faceted Czech glass sage green beads, tiny white acrylic doves, chocolate brown flower bead caps beads beaded with a raspberry and pistachio green glass bead, vintage cranberry moon glow beads.

The song “where the wild roses grow” is a dark passionate tale about beauty and obsession.
I just love this colour combo ..deep plums and reds teamed with black and cream, and just a hint of sage and mossy green. There is no main focal to this design, it is a continuous design..however there are 3 big bold and beautiful vintage plum Lucite orchids flowers to give the bracelet a real wow factor.. ( we all love a little wow factor don’t we ladies!) Then there are 6 gunmetal black filigree calla lily flowers, 4 gunmetal black filigree flowers and I have beaded each one with a rich cream lucite rose, there are then deep red polymer roses, 4 vintage lucite mossy green leaves, jet black and clear lacy filigree rounds, vintage cranberry red moon glow beads, chartreuse green faux pearls, vintage 1940’s bronze faux pearls, faceted fire polished sage green Czech glass beads, lucite plum roses, tiny butter cream glass flowers, vintage faceted crystal beads and cream porcelain roses. The Chain and all findings are a gunmetal black colour and the ornate lobster clasp is also black..

Last of the summer wine
My dad loved the TV program 'last of the summer wine'. So much so that we had the theme tune played at his funeral..he also was very fond of the odd glass of wine, sat in his garden, enjoying the sun shine..

De La Mer
One of my favourite themes for a charm bracelet has to be the sea. I love the shades of aqua and green teamed with the little shells and sea creature charms, and its perfect for this time of year...'de la mer' ( of the sea) is jam packed with artist made lampwork beads and vintage beads.
Firstly there are 5 handmade lampwork shells made by Trudi Doherty..3 are a lovely pale aqua colour and 2 are a pale golden yellow with strands of silver glass running through. There are 4 stunning large aqua crackle finish acrylic drops that look just like glass but are lovely and light weight to wear. Then you have 5 acrylic beads that also look like lampwork~ 3 rounds and 2 coin shaped….they are clear with strands of sea green and blue. There a 2 clear acrylic beads with flecks of white, drum shaped frosted aqua glass beads that look like sea glass, a pale aqua bumpy lampwork glass bead, faceted acrylic beads, vintage clear acrylic dimpled beads, vintage flecked aqua and turquoise glass beads, faceted Czech glass beads, tiny vintage Lucite creamy coloured shells, vintage gold tone clam shells, vintage gold tone starfish, 2 vintage Lucite creamy pink clam shells, a turquoise blue starfish button, vintage aqua acrylic ‘sea anemone’s’, and peachy pink acrylic ‘sea anemone’s’.

BlackWidow
Dripping in this seasons must have shades of black and purple and peppered with silvery grey..black widow is perfect with the little black dress for the party season..
I have hand crafted the spider that takes center stage for this design with premium czech glass faceted rondelles. The legs have been wired with silver tone sead beads, and although I have attached her at the center she can be added at any point of the bracelet as she is attached with a small lobster clasp..move her about or remove her if you wish and maybe add her to a chain to create a necklace..the choice is yours.
The rest of the bracelet is made with matt frosted black acrylic leaves, Premium Czech Glass Nugget Beads that are Lavender glass with the a speckled charcoal grey finish, faceted crystal clear beads with fire polished premium czech glass half coat silver/platinum mirror finish, Premium Czech Glass Faceted silver finish Round Beads, vintage deep purple moonglow beads, vintage silver grey moonglow beads, deep purple pinched Lucite ovals, Mauve Silk Faceted Fire Polished Czech Glass Beads, faceted purple acrylic beads, vintage faceted acrylic purple hearts, mottled gray fossil agate gemstones and swarovksi pearls in silver grey and plum. I have used a gunmetal black chain, clasp and findings through out and the lenght is 7.5 " with a one inche extender

Masquerade
Masquerade...paper faces on parade'...I just love 'The Phantom of the opear'. One of my favourite scenes is the Masquerade ball when the phantom decends the staircase wearing the 'red death' costume.

I don't know about you, but I am fed up of all this cold weather and wanted to make something bright and sunny to compensate for it..this design is inspired by the Cath Kidston strawberry fabric range, and all those gorgeous cherry print fabrics. Firstly the fruit..There are 6 large cherry red mountain jade gemstones that I have beaded with large polymer clay leaves to look like cherries..the leaves are hand crafted by Elise Canning. There are also 2 acrylic strawberries and 4 acrylic strawberry buttons. The rest of the bracelet is made with acrylic vintage daisy's, vintage sky blue dimpled acrylic nuggets, pale blue czech glass butterflies, pale blue porcelain butterflies, vintage sunny yellow acrylic beads, polymer clay daisies made by Elise Canning, silver tone filigree leaves, vintage acrylic Miriam Haskell turquoise nuggets, vintage green acrylic flower bead caps beaded with red glass beads, vintage 1950's deep red acrylic strawberry flowers, large acrylic white flowers beaded with red glass beads and a red lampwork tea cup and tea pot.
The silver tone chain is 7.5" long with an extension chain of about an inch with an ornate lobster clasp.

Dream catcher
This is my third Dream catcher design, the second is currently listed in my shop and appeared in a book called ‘beading with semi precious stones’ by Kim Gover. This Dream catcher is packed with gemstones and native American charms.
Dream catchers filter out bad dreams and allow only good dreams to visit your sleep.
The charms are a pewter dream catcher charm, a pewter native american design charm inlaid with a turquoise colour and coral coloured enamel, 2 pewter bear and feather charms ~ native american bears symbolise power, protection and courage. A pewter snake charm ~ native american snakes symbolise balance, cunning, healing and rejuvenation. There are 2 small and one larger sun charms, sun symbols are seen in every native american tribe is some shape or form and it is revered for its power.
There are also 5 hand wired feather charms. Burnt red and teal feather have been wired by myself with artist made lamp work beads. There are 3 turquoise and sand snake skin effect beads made by Vicki Honeywill and 2 stunning borosilicate lamp work beads made by Courtney Gaub. Feathers represent ascension and spiritual strength and are worn by chiefs to symbolize their communication with spirits and to express their celestial wisdom.
Which brings me to the gemstones. There are nuggets of faceted and smooth polished carnelian which is a general healing stone. It Restores the natural energy flows of your body, protects from bad vibrations and can help calm the temper. Carnelian helps an insecure person find strength from within. 2 turquoise tear drops~ a healing stone, Attracts friendships, luck, and happiness. Releases shame and guilt. A large nugget of blue onyx~ a good protective stone. Also releases old relationships and keeps away general negativity. There is also blue agate polished nuggets, 2 ovals of chalk turquoise, blue candy jade rounds, blue tigers eye rounds, red mountain jade and white mountain jade rounds.
The other beads are a small red borosilcate lampwork bead, a thai karen hill tribe sterling silver sheild, teal raku beads, red raku beads, vintage blue and white swirl beads, blue and white striped lampwork beads, a large burnt orange vintage acrylic bead, an artist made teal and black crackle lampwork bead and a tiny silver tone acorn charm.
The bracelet measures 7.5 inches and is finished with a 925 sterling silver box clasp with an inlay of black onyx.
