Beautiful Handcrafted Jewellery

I first became interested in jewellery making about 12 years ago while studying fashion design at college. I had just moved into my first student flat and I was looking through an interior design magazine for idea's on doing it up a bit when I came across an advert for a bead company and thought how nice the beads look, so I ordered a copy of their catalogue. Then I 'invested' some of my student loan on beads ( hey, it's better than beer!) and an obsession was born. I soon discovered that I like beads more than fashion design and had intended to start up a business then, but I met my husband and then came 3 kids so it kept getting put on hold, but every now and then I couldn't resist a bit of beading. In june 2005 I discovered ebay and decided to try selling a few things that I had made over the years, with the intention of just selling them off, but the few things I listed sold and I thought ' hang on, I could be on to something here!!' so I started buying a few more beads, making a few more things and it has grown and grown until today I am a world famous jewellery designer ( all true apart from the world famous bit!) Now Divorced I live in the historic market town of Mold in North Wales with my 3 children Jake aged 11, Amy aged 9 and Sophie aged 4. I am available for commissions so if there is anything you see that is no longer for sale but would like, drop me a line and I will see what I can do. Although it is not always possible to repeat items due to the beads I use I will do my best, and as my items are always one off creations I will not copy one exactly but can create a similar design just for you.

You can see my 'stormy sea's design on page 55. It appears under my Married name of 'Doyle'.  The lampwork beads used in this design were made by Rob Johnson at 'Beads of glass', a link to his website can be found on the 'links' page.
